Transcendent Souls: A Celebration of Trans Identity and Sound is a sensory-friendly concert of works by trans composers performed by trans musicians. In collaboration with Wicker Park Lutheran Church, this concert aims to celebrate trans artistry and highlight themes such as the sacredness of the human body, cosmic inheritance, and transness as participating in the divine act of creation. Come and hear works for string quartet and solo cello that draw inspiration and quotations from medieval and renaissance music and allude to the cosmic connection between human bodies, the earth, and the heavens.
