Frequently Asked Questions

I’m not queer or trans. Should I come to Transcendent Souls?

Yes! Experiencing trans art is a powerful way to deepen your allyship and engagement with your local queer community, and this concert is an opportunity to celebrate the incredible contributions of trans artists in an affirming and supportive space.

I’m not Christian. Should I come to Transcendent Souls?

Absolutely! While Transcendent Souls explores the relationship between transness and religion using Christianity as a point of departure, the heart of the program lies in universal themes: the sacredness of the human body, cosmic inheritance, and transness as a divine act of creation.
